Sahil Khattar: I want France to win the Football World Cup this time

Social media star Sahil Khattar has a lot on his plate these days. The host,who is seen in the ‘Being Indian’ YouTube videos is hosting shows on both the cricket and football titled ‘Fair and Square’ and ‘Football Extra’ respectively. While it may be tough juggling the two sports, Sahil says that he enjoys doing it.

As far as football is concerned, in an exclusive chat with Bombay Times, Sahil said that he is a staunch supporter of the French national team. He says, “The team that I am supporting, #MeriDoosriCountry is 'Les Bleus'. I want that France should win the football World Cup after two years. They deserve it because they have squad that is the perfect mix of young and experienced players. So, I wish that they take the cup home and I will celebrate for them."

Talking about the Cup, Sahil says that the key moment of the cup was definitely when the Senegal team broke into a dance post their match. He shares, "The incident that killed me was Senegalese garba'! Gujaratis have such a terrific influence on the world that they had the Senegal team members dance to their tunes!”
