Times Food Delivery Awards - Delhi NCR, 2024

The inaugural Times Food Delivery Awards, Delhi NCR recently took place at Eros Hotel New Delhi Nehru Place, to honour excellence in the food delivery sector. The event celebrated the industry's achievements and innovations, particularly noteworthy in light of the industry's shift toward food delivery during the COVID-19 pandemic.

In response to the pandemic, the food industry rapidly embraced food delivery, transforming it into a pivotal component of their business models. Today, ordering in has become as significant as dining out, fostering the emergence of delivery-only brands, cloud kitchens, home chefs, and specialized bakers who cater to homes with their unique creations. Notably, even upscale restaurants, hotels, and bars have pivoted to home delivery services.
To acknowledge and commend the rapid growth of this segment within the hospitality and restaurant industry, the Times of India initiated the Times Food Delivery Awards. These awards highlight creativity and innovation among brands, kitchens, and individuals who have elevated the dining experience at home.
The event commenced with an introduction by the emcee, welcoming chief guest Shamita Shetty, a prominent Bollywood personality known for her fondness for Delhi and enthusiasm for diverse cuisines, often indulging in food deliveries herself.

The winners at Times Food Delivery Awards – Delhi NCR 2024, are decided by a survey conducted by an independent Research Agency named Avance Insights Pvt, a full-service market research agency.
