We love a full-circle moment in fashion, but this one comes with a legit wink and huge fan following. When you see Meryl Streep stepping into a fashion trend, it’s surely going to be huge. And then enters an Anne Hathaway angle, which makes everything just seem more than perfect.
This is what happened when the Queen-Bee of ‘The Devil Wears Prada’ in real life stepped out wearing the same cerulean blue sweater, which looked eerily reminiscent of Andy Sachs, i.e., Anne Hathaway’s ‘The Devil Wears Prada’ look. It reignited one of fashion’s most iconic monologues when Meryl Streep walked onto the stage of a talk show wearing it.

She wore the same cerulean blue sweater Andy Sachs wore two decades later and right before the release of the film’s sequel. It featured an oversized fit with a round neckline and full sleeves with a pair of black straight-fit office pants. Leaving her beautiful blonde hair down, she carried a natural makeup look and casually wore a pair of stunning dark ice-blue glasses.
Fans went absolutely gaga over this look, where the comments carried a nostalgic edge. One said, “I love that we all see the cerulean sweater!” Another said, "Is she… is she wearing the cerulean blue pullover sweater?" Another comment read, “She’s wearing Andie’s sweater!”

For the uninitiated, the second part of the film is all set to release on May 1st and has the original casting, with 'Bridgerton' fame Simon Ashley joining the rest.
