Memorable and never-seen-before looks

The most iconic film festival of the year, Festival de Cannes 2025, came to an end after its 11-day run, with celebrities from all over the world crushing the red carpet in their stunning outfits. As the event witnessed national and international stars gracing the event, each making a ravishing fashion statement, some took it one step further and put on an unconventional show that brought in drama and created the most buzz. So, let’s dive deep and take a look at the most daring Cannes 2025 looks.

2/5

Urvashi Rautela

One of the first Indian celebs to walk the red carpet this year, Urvashi Rautela made heads turn at the Cannes 2025 red carpet in a statement multicoloured outfit dipped in the hues of blue, green, white, and black. The strapless design with a structured neckline and the statement peplum design created a stunning look, but her over-the-top matching headgear and makeup left the internet divided. She also carried a parrot-shaped bag with tacky accessories, which did not sit well with her outfit of the hour.

Mitchell Akat Maruko Raan

Model Mitchell Akat Maruko Raan rocked the show in a statement animal print outfit, which nobody saw coming. She wore a body-fit, full-sleeve, turtleneck co-ord set with a matching sleek bottom, creating a powerful fashion move. However, the eye-catching detail was a 3-D tiger popping out from one side, which completely blew our minds and was not on any fashion police’s radar.

Parul Gulati

Making her Cannes debut this year, Parul Gulati’s second-day look became the talk of the town for all the right reasons. The ‘Malkin’ of Nish Hair blended her business with haute couture and wore a customised braided hairdress that served as a statement look. The braids were manipulated to coil around the neckline, creating a structured deep neckline look that cascaded down the bodice and became loose, untied fringe-like braids with an asymmetrical-flared hemline.

Sonam Chhabra

Indian social media influencer Sonam Chhabra grabbed eyeballs with her bold outfit, which pays tribute to the Indian army. Her notably long gown train mentioned some of the brutal terror attacks in India with an ‘Unbroken’ caption. However, this did not sit well with many netizens, who accused the influencer of ‘insulting’ the Indian army, calling it a prop and a PR stunt.
