5 fashion trends we'd love Bollywood to hold onto in 2020

Bollywood and fashion go hand in hand, and take it or leave it, a lot of us do owe our fashion sensibilities to the Hindi film industry. And, hey we are proud of it. The new year has begun and it's time to embrace new trends, but there are some trends from the last season, flaunted by Bollywood stars in 2019 which we think will continue to rock in 2020. Here's a look at five of them that we totally love.

2/6

Oversized denims

Whether it's the baggy denim jacket or never-ending mom jeans, these two are back like never before. The high-waisted, loose, long sleeved and flared denims are going to rock in 2020, the way they ruled 2019. From Kareena Kapoor Khan to Deepika Padukone, all the a-listers flaunted these super comfortable denims in style.
3/6

Stripes on stripes

Stripes might be a classic pattern, but thinking of teaming them with stripes is nothing less than scary! But hey, if you want to be trendy this year, you need to try out this dreaded trend. Deepika sported a stripes on stripes pantsuit and slayed like a boss.
4/6

Utility jumpsuits

A jumpsuit is a one-piece garment with sleeves and legs and typically without integral coverings for feet, hands or head. The original jumpsuit is a functional one-piece garment, but Bollywood specialised in flaunting utility jumpsuits which came with pockets.
5/6

Polka dots

Polka dots are a classic print and can be paired with everything and anything, and Bollywood divas love flaunting this quirky print. If you want to be super stylish this year, then it's time to embrace the trend.
6/6

Monochrome

Tone on tone dressing had a huge moment in 2019 and the trend is going to continue this year. The trend basically means wearing coordinated separates of garments of one colour.
