Alia Bhatt’s Mumbai home Griha Pravesh gets a glam upgrade with her ornamental tissue silk saree by Manish Malhotra

Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor are one of the most popular Bollywood couples in the industry, where every little move of the duo receives much warmth and praise from their fans. While the two are supremely private about their personal lives, their adorable interactions always make headlines.

Every once in a while, Alia Bhatt gives a little peek into their world, and she has now shared a series of pictures from her November gallery, which includes the couple taking their first steps inside their new Mumbai home. The diva released never-before-seen glimpses of their newly built Bandra home, featuring their daughter Raha, a special homage to Rishi Kapoor, and more.

But what truly caught our attention was her luxurious tissue silk saree from Manish Malhotra’s collection, which 'Kapoor bahu' Alia draped for her griha pravesh moment. She wore a peach-pink saree with a gold border in a woven pattern that carried a soft fluidity and caught the light in the most alluring way. The scalloped gold border amplified the look of the drape and added a curved yet ornamental finish.



The very pretty actress teamed it with a golden blouse embroidered with sequins and thread florals arranged in compact clusters across the structured cap sleeves and unconventional sweetheart neckline. The heavy blouse created a textured contrast to the smoother surface of her saree and added a regal dimension without shifting away from the core gold tone.




Styled by Priyanka Kapadia Badani, Alia accessorised with a pair of beautiful jhumkas featuring an extended chain attached to her gajra, sourced from Khurana Jewellery House and Maya Sanghavi Jewels.

Keeping the structured neckline as the centrepiece, she skipped a necklace and instead stacked her hands with two openwork gold kadas featuring lotus-like motifs outlined with white stones. She also wore a heavy bangle set drenched in small ruby accents, adding a perfect overall balance and making her look both traditional and chic.

For her makeup, Alia channelled her signature clean-girl aesthetic with an illuminating base, peach cheeks, defined eyebrows, muted eyeshadow, a fine stroke of kohl, and peach-nude lips. She styled her hair in a sleek high bun adorned with fresh gajra and carried the perfect ‘nayi bahu’ elegance with a quintessential Bollywood touch.



While the handloom tissue silk saree by Manish Malhotra elevated her aura, the true showstopper was her embroidered structured blouse. The delicate play of minimalism with soft glam amplified the combination, where her regal elegance once again brought balance and made the entire look absolutely iconic.
