Dia Mirza’s ivory-gold Anavila saree is an absolute masterclass in quiet glamour

We all grew up witnessing Dia Mirza's beauty in the 2000s cult classic ‘Rehnaa Hai Terre Dil Mein’. It’s been more than 24 years since its release, and the leading lady still looks the same. The saree features fine golden stripes running across a natural linen base, finished with a slim zari border that resembles a traditional Kasavu drape. However, the vintage touch came with a soft lace edge hemmed around the border, which further added a neat flow. She matched its prowess with a sleeveless golden blouse, which did not look overworked and sat perfectly with the drape’s aura.




The silhouette neatly caught the light, and the matte finish exuded a quiet luxury finesse, making it perfect for day and night events. Now, regarding her accessories, Dia kept things classic and close to the body, wearing a short diamond choker necklace with traditional matching jhumkas and rounding it off with a single sleek bracelet. All the pieces were picked from the popular jewellery brand Tribe By Amrapali, which went perfectly with her overall dainty look.

Dia always looks radiant, but this time she added some warmth to her beauty touch. She kept a dewy base with a warm golden-brown eyeshadow touch, soft, defined kohl eyes, mascara-laden eyelashes, flushed pink cheeks, and a muted rose-tone lipstick. Completing the look with a small black bindi, she opted for simple side-parted her locks and wore them over one shoulder, keeping the overall look subtle and sober.
