Expensive Birkins to YSL classics: Ameesha Patel’s luxury bag collection could buy you a penthouse
Leaving fans swooning for more with her debut in 2000 opposite Bollywood’s hunk Hrithik Roshan, this Bollywood actress has taken a step back from the limelight. But do you know she’s an ardent collector of expensive luxury bags that’ll cost you a penthouse in Mumbai? Yes, we’re talking about the ‘Lazy Lamhe’ girl, Ameesha Patel.
Making her debut in ‘Kaho Naa…Pyaar Hai’, she also gave hits like ‘Gadar’ and was seen in ‘Humraaz’ as well. Living a lavish lifestyle in the heart of Mumbai, this SOBO girl has over 400 luxury bags and 100 pairs of shoes as a part of her ultra-luxurious lifestyle. Recently, she gave a glimpse of her bag collection on Farah Khan’s YouTube vlog, leaving the ‘Om Shanti Om’ in utter shock.
Ameesha Patel accepted that she is a serious collector of designer handbags and has a deep passion for luxury items, which goes back to her childhood days. Born and brought up in South Bombay, she is a fan of expensive accessories.
Rare Birkins and Dior collection
Ameesha Patel’s bag collection includes many limited edition expensive bag pieces, which almost took an entire wardrobe. She has a dedicated column for her luxury and rare Hermès Birkins, which are reportedly worth Rs 2 to 3 crores. On another shelf, she was seen carefully placing her neat Dior bag collection, which she has been collecting since she was 12 years old.
Amidst the selection, she had a rare soft power-blue classic and a rare pink crocodile leather Birkin edition that she picked 15 years ago. These iconic Hermès bags can easily make any fashion enthusiast weak in the knees.
Classic Bottega Veneta and YSL chic
Farah Khan’s amazement only grew as the next cupboard had treasures from Bottega Veneta, Louis Vuitton, Chanel, and YSL. Ameesha Patel is a proud owner of an orange and very popular Bottega Veneta clutch, which she apparently owns in the shade of black, too.
The Chanel sector had rows of quilted and limited-edition picks, all in the range of Rs 5 lakh and more. It was followed by a chic YSL column, amongst which Ameesha gave a glimpse of the popular black YSL quilted tote bag with a golden logo finish, which is priced around Rs 3.5 lakh. This section in particular was more than enough to rival a boutique.
Her unique and iconic collection of expensive bags truly speaks all about her relationships with these international luxury houses and reinforces her reputation as an ardent collector with classy taste. Ameesha revealed that brands located in Paris and Dubai are also versed with her name, making her not just any other expensive Bollywood collector, but a legacy dipped in chic leather, luxury, and style.
