Bollywood goes all out for Ganpati Bappa’s homecoming!

Every year, Bollywood gets all decked up in full festive glory and welcomes Ganpati Bappa with open arms and iconic style. Setting stunning ethnic notes and a festive-style mood every year, Bollywood’s leading ladies adorn lavish traditional couture, leaving us swooning for more. From heirloom sarees to stunning flared kurtas and traditional naths, each element contributes to the festive fervour. So, here’s a short roundup of who wore what for Ganesh Aagman 2025.

Mrunal Thakur

Post the Ganesh Chaturthi festivities at her home, the diva stepped out and was spotted at Rakul Preet’s residence wearing a customised Mayyur Girotra ensemble. Drenched in hues of shining silver, she wore a short kurta with silver zardozi work and teamed it with a chikankari dupatta. Ditching the usual palazzos, she opted for matching ankle-length, sleek pants and adorned a chic Maharashtrian nath, where she beautifully blended tradition with her contemporary dressing.

Draping this classic handwoven aqua number featuring gold zari stripes and hand-tinted detailing in shades of green, rust, lavender, and blue, Sharvari’s pastel aura was a breath of fresh air amid the heavy embellishments and bold hues. She completed the look with a matching shoulder-length blouse and welcomed Bappa with her family.
