Khushi Kapoor gives Dior a Gen-Z twist in the iconic Bar jacket, layered with old-world Parisian charm
Is Sonam Kapoor, Dior’s Indian brand ambassador, all set to pass the crown to her cousin Khushi Kapoor? It seems so, as Khushi Kapoor quietly commanded attention at Dior’s Spring/Summer 2026 cocktail showcase in Paris and embraced an elegant look far from her Gen-Z aesthetic.
Her Dior look included classic codes, sleek tailoring, and a clever statement piece which made the ensemble worth collecting. This timeless pick was set against the Parisian couture, and honestly, Khushi nailed every bit of it. She looked like she stepped out of an archival photograph while injecting her Gen-Z charm, making it the best of both worlds.
At the heart of her look was Dior’s legendary 20 Montaigne Bar Jacket, which has shaped the label's identity since Christian Dior introduced it in 1947. It featured a sculpted waist with structured shoulders, clean notch lapels and rendering around the black and white houndstooth stitching, which is another signature detail of the brand.
The light-catching sequins balanced glam and tradition; This piece felt less like an archival item and more like an iconic costume with history attached. The fitted frame made it look like a second skin and offered a rare combination of power and femininity, for which Dior is known.
Khushi teamed it with a matching mini skirt which echoed the same notes and cleverly added a golden charm necklace which felt like a cherry on the cake. But there’s one accessory everybody kept talking about. This piece felt like a strong accent, required to match the ensemble’s aura.
She started the conversation again with her Dior bow bag that instantly injected personality into her ensemble; it is a piece designed by the label’s new creative director, Jonathan Anderson. This black piece is the season’s most photographed accessory, perfectly complementing the modern yet nostalgic charm of her ensemble.
Keeping her styling sophisticated and elegant above all, her hair and makeup also followed the same philosophy. She kept a glowing base with contoured cheeks and warm brown eyes, completing the look with minimal nude lips. Anchoring a sleek, straight hairstyle with a side parting, every note of her look whispered quiet luxury, and we absolutely adore this look. Do you? Let us know in the comments below.
