Rekha wows in onion pink Banarasi silk saree at Mira Rajput’s wellness brand launch

Mira Rajput Kapoor may have been launching her new wellness venture Dhun in Mumbai, but it was Bollywood’s eternal diva, legendary actress Rekha, who effortlessly stole the spotlight with her enchanting presence. Dressed in a breathtaking onion pink Banarasi saree by Manish Malhotra, Rekha turned the wellness brand event into a full-fledged fashion moment.

While Mira stepped into the world of entrepreneurship, proudly supported by husband Shahid Kapoor and his family, Rekha arrived as the ultimate showstopper. A symbol of timeless grace, she brought with her a wave of vintage glam that lit up the venue.



The saree, a masterpiece by designer Manish Malhotra, featured handwoven Banarasi kora silk with delicate lotus motifs woven throughout. Rekha paired it with a matching blouse, which featured Manish Malhotra’s signature churi sleeves, tight-fitting and full-length, adding a regal silhouette that echoed her decades-long style legacy.

Her look was completed with her trademark beauty elements: voluminous hair tied in a bun adorned with fragrant gajras, kohl-rimmed eyes, glowing bronzed skin, and a rich plum-toned lipstick. Her dazzling earrings and layered bangles added the perfect finishing touch, making the look both traditional and red carpet-worthy.


Manish Malhotra himself couldn’t help but gush over the look, sharing a photo on Instagram with the caption: “Ever graceful and stunning - the one and only timeless beauty.
