Selena Gomez makes a strong case for black and white ensembles during the holiday season

Selena Gomez is obsessed with black and white outfits and so are we! You cannot go wrong in black and white outfits unless you shoot yourselves in the feet. On Wednesday, she walked the red carpet of an entertainment gala wearing a black and white number. She wore a Self-Portrait’s black knit off-shoulder midi dress to the event. The playful off-shoulder with the collar added a fun twist to the otherwise formal dress which features a jacket-like bodice adorned with gold buttons. She added black pumps from Manolo Blahnik with pearl detailing. The singer-actor opted for dainty diamonds from Chopard for jewels and kept her middle parted flippy bob hair open. The makeup was spot-on and looked absolutely beguiling. She was styled by Erin Walsh.

Selena surely made a strong case for classic black and white outfits with a fun twist, especially during this holiday season.

She graced the gala hosted at The Beverly Hills Hotel on Dec. 04, 2024, in Beverly Hills, Calif, and while talking to reporters, the singer spoke about her ‘comfy’ dress, and how “It’s like a cheating kind of dress, gives you the space.”

Meanwhile, speaking at the Gala on Wednesday, while receiving an award, Selena Gomez also highlighted the importance of equal opportunities. She stated that equity and representation are about ensuring that women, regardless of their background, have equal opportunities to share their stories and showcase their talents. She stated that it’s about moving from tokenism to true inclusion, creating spaces where women of all races, sexual orientations, and abilities are welcome.



On the other hand, Selena Gomez has been dishing out major style goals of late. Earlier this week she wore a black and white fit, which is perfect for the Christmas festivities. The singer wore a Victorian-style white button-up shirt featuring ith lace collar and ruffle sleeves, and paired it with a leather mini skirt, and sheer tights. She layered the outfit with a sequin jacket.

Earlier in Nov. 2024, the singer-actor made quite the splash in a custom Ralph Lauren gown with a tuxedo twist, made of more than 70,000 crystals and finished with traditional French cuffs.
