Junaid Safdar, the grandson of the former Prime Minister of India’s neighbouring country Nawaz Sharif, recently married Shanzay Ali Rohail, and yes, the wedding was as grand as everyone imagined. She styled it with forest green and soft rose dupattas, while the blouse carried the same detailed embroidery. The jewellery was bold and traditional, matching the richness of the outfit. Her makeup stayed soft but glowing - smoky brown eyes, defined brows, flushed cheeks, and a nude-brown lip.

But when it came to the wedding ceremony, she took a different route. Shanzay chose a Tarun Tahiliani saree and kept things more classic. The deep red saree was paired with a matching potli, and this time the jewellery was toned down. A diamond choker with a striking emerald at the centre was enough. It added drama without taking away from the saree. And it worked, effortlessly.
