Serving some golden-goddess energy

India's fashion industry boasts a select few names that truly meet the audience's expectations, with Bollywood's own diva, Sonam Kapoor, at the forefront. After welcoming her second child, she isn’t just making an appearance, but she’s staging a full-blown fashion resurrection and commanding attention with bold golden energy. Draped in a sculptural creation by Tamara Ralph, Sonam Kapoor has finally ended the style drought in B-town.

She’s just getting started

Sonam wore an iconic bejewelled jacket with a matching skirt picked from Tamara Ralph’s spring/summer 2024 collection. But this isn’t any regular co-ord set. The ensemble is made from a woven tweed tailleur, dipped in metallic tones and drenched in golden chains with xylium crystals. The sharp tailoring of the ensemble, combined with its opulent texture, struck just the right balance, creating a look that feels almost like a dream in today's fit checks.

You know it's double-trouble

Sonam only listens to her stylist, and sister Rhea Kapoor is known to be the fashion maestro in the industry. These two are long-time collaborators, and every time they grace the floor, it's definitely for something magical. With Rhea’s vision in motion, Sonam accessorised the look with exquisite pieces from Zoya Jewels and wore a statement earring set with a matching delicate necklace, which subtly complemented the metallic tones of her fit.

Is it the new mama glow?

For her hair and makeup, Sonam chose celebrity makeup artist Namrata Soni, who delivered her signature base featuring soft and bronzed skin with a subtle nude lipstick and charming glittery nude eyes. Adding a stroke of perfect winged eyeliner, she left Sonam’s hair down in a side parting, allowing the shining ensemble to take centre stage. This post-pregnancy glow marks the revival of a fashion force who really never left, but only paused for a while.
