Taj Mahal necklace, snakeskin and more: Margot Robbie’s ‘Wuthering Heights’ press tour looks
Margot Robbie has served again. If her Barbie press tour impressed you, the Wuthering Heights run is already blowing the internet away, only this time, the pink fantasy has been replaced by gothic romance, literary drama and windswept-moors energy. Staying true to her method-dressing streak, Robbie is leaning fully into Emily Brontë’s world, and every appearance feels like a page torn straight from the novel.Margot Robbie is bringing the Yorkshire moors to Hollywood. The 35-year-old actor has officially begun promotions for Wuthering Heights, and she and longtime stylist Andrew Mukamal are building looks that draw directly from Emily Brontë’s 1847 gothic classic.Nearly three years after her headline-making Barbie red carpet streak, Robbie is once again in full character-coded fashion mode, stepping out in dramatic gowns, statement accessories and Victorian-leaning silhouettes. The film is directed by Emerald Fennell and co-stars Jacob Elordi, and is set to arrive in theaters on Feb. 13. Here’s a closer look at the romantic, darkly themed wardrobe she has unveiled so far.

Tour kickoff look

Robbie opened the press tour on Jan. 26 in a black Roberto Cavalli Resort 2026 minidress designed with exaggerated bell sleeves and a velvet-trimmed square neckline. She paired it with a ruby-and-gold pendant necklace set on a black velvet choker and completed the look with towering Christian Louboutin patent stilettos measuring 130mm, over five inches, giving the outfit a near en-pointe finish.

“Jimmy Kimmel Live!”

For her appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, Robbie chose a sheer black lace Alexander McQueen minidress from the brand’s spring 2026 collection. The gothic design featured a keyhole front and asymmetric hemline. She styled it with vintage McQueen rosary bead sandals and Jessica McCormack diamond earrings. Her hair fell in loose, windswept waves, a subtle visual callback to the stormy Yorkshire moors central to the novel’s mood.

Double the feathers

4
During a Los Angeles press day, Robbie wore two feather-trimmed Victoria Beckham spring 2026 looks, each tied to a specific line from the book. Mukamal shared images alongside a passage describing her character’s unraveling: “Tossing about, she increased her feverish bewilderment to madness, and tore the pillow with her teeth… she seemed to find childish diversion in pulling the feathers from the rents she had just made, and ranging them on the sheet according to their different species.

Sizzling snakeskin

5
For a Los Angeles photocall, Robbie stepped out in a bold crimson Dilara Findikoglu ensemble, a high-low micro-miniskirt, beaded bra top and ruffled jacket with a built-in corset. She finished the styling with snakeskin pumps and a red choker with a diamond pendant. Mukamal captioned the look with another line from the novel: “I’d rather be hugged by a snake.”

All laced up

6
Robbie made a quick outfit switch after the photocall for an interview, trading the snakeskin look for a layered, nightie-inspired Markgong dress featuring stacked bra detailing and a sheer overlay. She added soft pink ribbons to her tousled hair and grounded the sweetness with slashed leather knee-high boots, keeping the gothic edge intact.

Los Angeles premiere

7
For the Los Angeles premiere on Jan. 28, Robbie opted for full theatrical drama in a custom Schiaparelli ball gown layered with lace, velvet and satin. Designer Daniel Roseberry explained the concept in a video, noting that the sculpted silhouette delivered the drama, the sheer black lace corset bodice carried the romance and the scarlet hem symbolized passion within the story. The standout accessory was Cartier’s Taj Mahal necklace, the same piece Richard Burton gifted Elizabeth Taylor for her 40th birthday in 1972. When he presented it, Burton famously said: “I would have liked to buy her the Taj Mahal, but it would cost too much to transport.”Engraved on the necklace is a line that mirrors the novel’s emotional core: “Love is Everlasting.”
