Ekta Kapoor surprises in a regal pink-beige lehenga

Ekta Kapoor may not be the first name that comes to mind when we talk about celebrity fashion, but every once in a while, she drops a look that completely changes the conversation. Her latest ethnic appearance did exactly that. The producer, known more for her powerful television empire than red-carpet glamour, stepped out in a breathtaking pink and beige lehenga that left fans pleasantly surprised. Honestly, she looked like the perfect wedding guest, and with that glow and elegance, one could even mistake her for a newlywed modern-day bride.

2/7

A Chandni Chowk masterpiece

Designed by the iconic Chandni Chowk label Kamal Bhai Saree Sangam, the lehenga stood out for its rich handwork and unmistakable Indian charm. Ekta has been sharing a streak of traditional looks on her social media lately, and this ensemble continued that streak with a refreshing twist of royalty.

3/7

All about the lehenga

The silk-based lehenga skirt was adorned with intricate threadwork in red and silver, an elegant blend that gave the outfit a soft yet luxurious feel. The motifs, inspired by floral veils and leafy vines, flowed beautifully across the fabric, giving it a timeless, heirloom-like appeal. The border echoed the same artistry, tying the entire look together with cohesive detailing.

The blouse, meanwhile, kept things balanced. While it mirrored the lehenga’s colour palette, it was intentionally kept simpler than the skirt and dupatta - an understated move that allowed the heavy craftsmanship of the rest of the outfit to shine.

4/7

A statement dupatta that complements the look

The real pop of colour came from the dupatta. Ekta chose a vibrant pink drape, complete with handworked borders that matched the motifs of the lehenga. Draped effortlessly, it added freshness and a youthful elegance to the overall look.

5/7

Heavy temple jewellery for that royal finish

Of course, an ethnic outfit is never complete without jewellery and Ekta went gloriously big. Her choice of temple jewellery was bold, traditional, and perfect for the grandeur of the outfit. Crafted in copper tones by Om Sons Bridal Store, the heavy necklace with its prominent pendant became the show-stealer, beautifully complemented by matching earrings. The addition of a sparkly waistband made of silver crystals and pearls added a fun bridal touch, one that elevated the outfit from festive to truly regal.

6/7

Soft glam and the modern-Indian aesthetic

She kept her hair open in soft waves and opted for light, glowy makeup, the kind that lets the outfit and jewellery do all the talking. The soft glam balanced the richness of the ensemble and added to her modern-yet-traditional aesthetic.

Social media users approve the look

Netizens, of course, couldn’t hold back. Under stylist Neha Adhvik Mahajan’s post, the comments section was filled with heart emojis, fire reactions, and loads of appreciation. Actor Parull Chaudhary summed it up perfectly with a simple, “So pretty.” One user wrote, "So pretty," another wrote, "Inspired by Taniya Mittal."

With this look, Ekta Kapoor proved that when she decides to bring the glamour, she brings it with full force. Elegant, royal, and surprisingly fashion-forward, her lehenga moment is now officially bookmarked as wedding-season inspiration.
