India got its lost glory back in the international arena on Saturday, as fbb Femina Miss India World 2017 Manushi Chhillar made the country proud by bagging the prestigious Miss World 2017 crown.

Held in Sanya, China, the glorious evening saw India attaining the top spot, courtesy Manushi, who's the 6th Indian to win the coveted crown.

Manushi competed with contestants from over 100 countries in the 67th edition of the Miss World pageant.

From medicine to fashion

A medical student, Manushi took over from Priyadarshini Chatterjee to become the 54th Miss India World.

And the winners are...

While Manushi succeeded Miss World 2016 Stephanie Del Valle from Puerto Rico, Stephanie Hill from England bagged the first runner up spot and Andrea Meza from Mexico was adjudged the second runner up.
