They have gone through hell, but haven't let their past affect their future. A handful of acid attack survivors got together recently to celebrate womanhood and spread awareness about violence against women.

Scarred yet beautiful, 11 members of an NGO walked the ramp on the occasion of International Women's Day and showcased how confidence was the key to move on with life despite all the adversities.

Dressed in lovely Indian attires, the pretty ladies wowed one and all as they sashayed across the ramp.

The star of the evening was Laxmi Agarwal, an acid attack survivor, an Indian campaigner for the rights of acid attack victims, who turned showstopper for the social cause.

Inspiration personified, the ladies left us with some serious confidence goals.
