Stars who owned the spotlight today

The whole of Bollywood recently came together to support actor, producer, and singer Farhan Akhtar, as the all-rounder of the entertainment world is set for his upcoming release. While the men were spotted following the dress code of the night in black, the ladies were seen spreading charm in pristine white. These trendsetting looks dominated social media like anything. Perfect for anyone seeking everyday style inspo, we have a list of your favourite stars in their finest ensembles, exuding looks like pros.

Farhan Akhtar and Shibani Dandekar

The couple of the hour looked absolutely iconic in a black-and-white combination, where Farhan Akhtar decked up in an all-black look and was seen in a collared sherwani with side-button detailing. He paired it with contrasting white pyjamas and added a statement golden brooch. Standing hand in hand, Shibani Dandekar wore a statement white floral silk-satin drape with black outlining, matched with an elbow-length sophisticated blouse. Exuding regal vintage charm, the duo looked absolutely ravishing.

Arjun Kapoor and Tiger Shroff

Both the new-age actors were seen abiding by the black dress code, where Arjun Kapoor took an ethnic turn and Tiger Shroff kept things sharp and modest. Arjun Kapoor wore a knee-length straight-fit black kurta featuring black-beaded embroidery around the neckline. He completed the look with straight-fit matching pants and finished the show with a pair of dark glasses. On the other hand, Tiger Shroff was seen in a satin button-down shirt teamed with a matching pair of black pants. He, too, wore a pair of statement sunglasses and instantly charmed us.

Farah Khan and Zoya Akhtar

The leading female directors of Bollywood walked the red carpet in statement ethnic looks, where Farah Khan was seen in a full-length Bandhani print yellow kaftan featuring billowy sleeves and multi-coloured floral and gold embroidery on the front. Meanwhile, Zoya Akhtar abided by the dress code of the evening and wore a plain tissue-silk kurta set drenched in ivory, paired with ankle-length pants and a matching plain dupatta.

Men in Black: Karan Johar, Ranveer Singh, and Arjun Rampal

These three men in black instantly made heads turn in all-black outfits and indeed stole the show. Bollywood mogul Karan Johar was spotted in an open velvet sherwani jacket with golden leopard patches, teamed with a subtle black kurta and matching pants. But the looks of the ‘Dhurandhars’ of the hour, Arjun Rampal and Ranveer Singh, created loud noise online. While Ranveer was spotted in a plain black Pathani kurta-pyjama avatar with a sharp beard and black glares, Arjun Rampal was seen in a bandhgala thigh-length buttoned modern sherwani with a pair of Patiala pants, which looked classy and chic.

Bhavana and Chunky Panday

If you think there’s only Ananya Panday in the Panday household who can slay, then meet her parents, Bhavana and Chunky Panday, who also slayed in colourful outfits. Bhavana abided by the dress code of the evening and was seen in an ivory oversized upside-down kurta with printed floral and golden detailing all over it. She teamed it with a pair of matching flared pants and looked absolutely stunning. On the contrary, Chunky Panday entered the event spreading his floral charm in a heavily embroidered black kurta with a multi-coloured floral design all over it, teamed with a pair of churidar pants.
