South Indian actresses are already setting ethnic fall trends!

As the winter season is approaching, the dark and subtle fall hues are sneaking out of the closet. From greys to off-white tones, the colour palette is going to be alluring, adorned with glitter, glam, and more. But, amidst all the dark shades, there is one colour that has stood out as a favourite of South Indian actresses. It’s the season of the navy blue palette, which was picked up by nearly every other actress and makes a perfect addition to your wedding shopping list. Let’s see how these ladies styled it, making it the official ethnic colour of this season.

Sreeleela

Sreeleela made heads turn in a light velvet navy blue-toned saree, which caught the light in the most iconic manner to show off its depth and grace. But this is not your usual saree drape, as the diva teamed it with embroidered sharara pants featuring vertical gold thread lines that elongated her frame. With a dense latticework on the hemline and a slim strap-tasselled border, she wore this daring crop top and fashioned a saree drape in the most iconic manner.

Samantha Ruth Prabhu

Seeking a vintage route, Samantha’s recent appearance in a beautiful sheer organza navy blue saree instantly made headlines online. She wore this purple silk organza saree from the brand Eka, which came with a gold-piped border and subtle jacquard butti motifs scattered across its length. Teaming it with a sharply cut blouse and plunging neckline, the fine vertical stripes on the blouse also brought an overall structure and contrast to this fluid fabric.

Tamannaah Bhatia

Having the power to turn any ensemble into a splendid style statement, Tamannaah Bhatia’s closet should always be closely monitored for style inspiration. The diva wore a stunning navy blue saree crafted by Jayanti Reddy featuring intricate thread embroidery on the scalloped borders, which uplifted the whole look of the fit. She complemented it with a heavy metallic, floral embroidery, shoulder-length blouse, which came with a unique sweetheart neckline and gracefully sat with the saree’s allure.

Keerthy Suresh

Perfect for the Gen Z ladies, this navy blue drape screams cocktail and is perfect for the wedding season. Picked from the shelves of label Jadon, this navy blue inked saree came with golden floral appliqués that were all over the drape and matched its grace with a stunning sleeveless blue blouse. Keeping her accessories and beauty notes minimal, she allowed her drape to take centre stage, which indeed deserved the light.

Aditi Rao Hydari

The shade of navy blue seems to be Aditi Rao Hydari’s favourite colour. From stunning drapes to ravishing shararas, this fall hue is one of her favourites. The diva was once seen in a navy blue-purple blended satin silk saree from Raw Mango, which came with a linear pattern of hand embroidery and had zardozi naqshi detailing with metal sequins all over the pallu. It looked like no less than a three-string garland and was teamed with a contrasting jamuni-purple shade, an elbow-length, heavily embroidered blouse.
