Food walk in the Nizamuddin basti

Delhi has a connection with street food that goes back hundreds of years in history. From the lanes of Chandni Chowk to the streets of Hauz Khas, the capital city of India has been a heavenly abode for all the food lovers. There is a popular belief that Purani Dilli houses the best of street food. However, much before the streets of Old Delhi, lies a much broader lane that's less noisy and overcrowded at all the times - Hazrat Nizamuddin. It's a place that houses the popular Nizamuddin Dargah, where you can find eternal peace. Not just that, Nizamuddin is also popular for its relevance to the Mughlai food and architecture, because of which several Bollywood films have been shot here. The place is lit up every Thursday evening with qawwalis and songs at every nook and corner, which can give you real happiness. The food that you get here can give you the authentic feel of the Mughal era. From mutton biryani to varieties of kebabs and mutton kofta to mutton chops, you can find a lot of dishes in the narrow lanes of Nizamuddin market. We are sure that reading this itself brings water in your mouth and very rightly so.
