3 Indian pizzerias among the 50 Top Pizza Asia-Pacific 2026

What makes Indian pizzas so special?

When it comes to pizza, it's very rare to hear that someone doesn't like it. Hence, the market is flooded with hundreds of pizza places. In the Indian market, customers have been welcoming to all types, which has given rise to many players and now some of them have achieved global recognition as well. The 2026 edition of 50 Top Pizza Asia-Pacific, unveiled in Tokyo on March 9, 2026 is proof, as the list featured three impressive Indian pizzerias from Gurugram, Delhi, and Surat. Tokyo topped the charts this year, as RistoPizza by Napoli sta ca, headed by Giuseppe Errichiello in Azabudai Hills, was named the number one pizzeria in the region. And the second place was secured by The Pizza Bar on 38th. The 2026 list includes pizzerias from 13 countries: Australia, China, South Korea, the Philippines, Japan, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, New Zealand, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand and Vietnam. This has emerged as the highest-ranked Indian pizzeria in the Asia-Pacific region. Founded by Naples-born pizzaiola Susanna Di Cosimo after she moved to India in 2013, this place is known for its Neapolitan craft. They are known for their light, well-hydrated dough with long fermentation, resulting in softness and easy digestibility.

Delhi's Leo’s Pizzeria is once again listed among the best pizza places. Founded by Amol Kumar, the place focuses on quality ingredients and its signature 48-hour fermented dough, creating light and flavourful pizzas, which are loved by people of all age groups.

This pizza place is run by pizzaiolo Harmeet, and is known for its traditional Italian technique. One can try their fusion blend of Indian and Neapolitan style. Here, the menu also offers pastas.
