5 dishes you can make with fresh fruits

Summers are here and it’s a blissful time for fruit lovers. The scorching hot weather brings in some respite with the delicious seasonal fruits like mangoes, watermelon, muskmelon to name a few. If you too are fond of fruits and want to amp up your indulgence then here are 5 brillant dishes made with fresh fruits that will satiate your love for fruits.

2/6

Avocado Recipe

Avocados are a very popular fruit that can be used in an infinite number of delicious recipes. Avocados are high in vitamin E, a powerful antioxidant, and vitamin B6, which promotes healthy skin. Because they contain monounsaturated fats (the good kind of fat), they can also help improve your cholesterol levels, lowering your risk of heart disease. Another advantage is that they contain about 3.4 grams of fibre, which will help you feel full.

Easy Avocado Hazelnut Chocolate Mousse: That's right, avocado can be used in desserts! And, yes, it tastes fantastic. It's also extremely simple to make. Indulge in this nutritious treat that combines the subtle flavour of avocado with the creaminess and richness of dark chocolate. Fill a small saucepan halfway with water, just enough to cover the bottom.

Bring the water to a boil. Place a small stovetop-safe bowl inside the pot and reduce the heat to keep the water boiling. Whisk in the chocolate chunks, erasing any clumps and making sure it doesn't burn. In a food processor, combine ripe avocados, unsweetened cocoa powder, honey, Hazelnut Kahlua, pink Himalayan salt, and almond milk, followed by melted chocolate. Blend until silky smooth. Pour into two or four separate bowls, cover, and chill for at least 3 hours or overnight. Garnish with mint leaves, chopped hazelnuts, and/or berries. Wasn't that simple? The mousse will firm up significantly as it cools.

So, make the most of the summer season by indulging in the magic of these fruits with these heavenly and healthy recipes.

3/6

Litchi

Summer fruits often serve the dual purpose of hydrating and cooling the body. Litchi is high in vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants. The fruit is typically eaten fresh, but it can also be used in ice cream or processed into juice and jelly. Every summer, children and adults alike look forward to one fruit other than mango: litchi.

Litchi Sorbet: It's a delicious drink that's typically served chilled. It's made with boiled litchi and sugar syrup, which is then cooled and blended with lime juice. The frozen delight is a refreshing summer drink that keeps you hydrated for longer periods of time. Dry fruits can be added. If you want to amp up the flavour, add a dash of vodka to the sherbet.

4/6

Mangoes

The best thing about summer is a mango! Juicy, sweet and absolutely divine, this king of fruits is much loved and most looked forward to. The sweet taste of mangoes underlined with a subtle tang has created many fans across the globe. Bung them in salads, smoothies or curries. Pickle them, make chutneys, or turn them into delectable desserts.

Chilled Mango Cheesecake: The classic Marie gold biscuit foundation. NO-BAKE! Creamy, insanely mango mousse-like cheesecake filling Mango jelly on top, whipped cream (optional) and more mangoes!!! It can't get any better than this! Finish an idyllic afternoon with friends with this stunning, impressive dessert.

5/6

Blueberry

Blueberries are one of our favourite plant-based foods to help meet daily fibre requirements. These little blue power sources are both nutritious and tasty, putting the "super" in superfood. They are high in vitamin C and fibre, as well as a great source of energy. One serving (one cup or a handful) has only 80 calories and is naturally low in fat and sodium.

Blueberries In Salads: Salads may not be the first place to think of adding blueberries, but we'd like to convince you otherwise. Blueberries add a subtle sweetness to any salad while also increasing its nutritional value. This summer fruit salad with jalapeno, mint, and lime is a (lightly) spicy twist on a classic. It's not only simple, but it's also healthy, as an excellent source of vitamin C. Your tropical summer fruit salad with jalapeno mint and lime will be a hit at any gathering. In a mixing bowl, combine olive oil, lime juice, scallions, mint leaves, lime zest, and kosher salt. Stir in the blueberries, pineapple, mango, kiwi, and jalapeno. Garnish with shaved coconut.

6/6

Kiwi

This delicious kiwi recipe is the perfect way to kick off the season! While it may not come to mind as quickly as other fruits and vegetables, kiwis are also delicious this time of year. They're light, juicy, refreshing, and bursting with yummy deliciousness.

Breakfast Pie with Yogurt and Kiwi: Remember when you were a kid and you were told you couldn't eat pie for breakfast? That's complete nonsense! Eat pie for breakfast if you want pie for breakfast! Even better, you can eat healthy pie for breakfast with this kiwi recipe. The crust is made of guilt-free ingredients like almonds, sunflower seeds, fruit, and yogurt, and the topping is low-carb Greek yogurt and sliced kiwis.
