Eats plant-based diet

Recently, she revealed her diet secrets to a leading daily that highlighted the part that she tries to find the right balance of a good healthy body and a healthy state of mind. Bhumi revealed that she mostly consumes a plant-based diet as she is a vegetarian. (Images courtesy: iStock)

Consumes fresh produce

Bhumi further revealed that she consumes about 200 gms of vegetables daily in various forms along with fresh fruits, as they are rich in natural sugar and carbohydrates. She also said that her body cannot digest milk in its purest form and thus she stays away from dairy as much as she can.

Rice is her companion

Bhumi also disclosed that one of the biggest myths about weight loss is that one cannot eat rice. However, she consumes rice regularly as it has amino acids and is easily digestible by the stomach.

If there is one thing Bhumi avoids is - refined sugar. She stays away from it as much as possible.
