2/5

Look for heavy and yellow spots

Even if you like the shiny and green watermelon seen in the market, it is actually not red and sweet. In such a situation, buy a heavy watermelon. Because a watermelon contains an average of 92 percent water. Due to which it becomes juicy and sweet. That is, the heavier the watermelon, the more juicy it will be. Apart from this, see the yellow spot in watermelon because due to prolonged ripening in the field, it gets a yellow spot.

3/5

Tap from the top

Another way to identify a good watermelon is to tap it a little from the top, because the sound of ripe watermelon is deeper. On the other hand, the sound of an under-ripe watermelon is flat. In this way you can identify sweet watermelon.

4/5

Aroma and taste

The sweet and pleasant aroma of watermelon tells everything. One way to reach this fragrance can also be that you try to smell it by burying your nails lightly in watermelon. Good smell means good watermelon.

5/5

Look for no-holed watermelon

Watermelon should always be bought whole and the previously cut ones, should be avoided at all costs. Many vendors also sell injected watermelons which you should not buy. The way to identify it is that before buying you must be sure that there are no holes in the watermelon, which may be injection marks.
