Smart ways to make Sweet Potato dishes

If you are a weight watcher and wish to avoid potatoes, then make a switch to sweet potatoes. They are equally nutritious and are rich in fiber, vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants. Per 100 g of this root vegetable offers 86 calories and 3 g of fiber and is also rich in vitamins C and B6, potassium, and manganese, making it a healthy choice for people of all age groups. They have a lower glycemic index than white potatoes (especially when boiled), making them suitable for diabetics when consumed in moderation. They are also rich in beta-carotene and polyphenols. It is mentioned in the study that sweet potato helps improve insulin sensitivity and help regulate blood sugar levels. Sweet Potato & Paneer Kebabs


To make these kebabs, mash boiled sweet potatoes and mix it with crumbled paneer, herbs, spices like cumin, coriander, salt, pepper, and paprika. Also, add a hint of roasted besan, combine well to form kebabs and pan-fry or air-fry them to perfection. Enjoy with onion rings and mint coriander chutney on the side.
