Simple ways to make Almond Butter at home!

Crunchy, delicious and healthy, these little almonds are undeniably the most delicious nuts. With a shift towards healthy eating, most people are going for healthier alternatives and there’s nothing better than omega 3 fatty acid rich almonds. So, if you are fond of creamy nut butters, then this homemade almond butter made with zero additives is a perfect treat for your taste buds. So, roll up your sleeves and follow us through two simple ways of making Almond Butter at home.

2/3

Zero-added oil Almond Butter

To make this easy homemade almond butter, you need four cups of raw almonds. Next, take a baking tray and line it with parchment paper. Dry roast the almonds for 5 to 10 minutes. Then allow the almonds to attain a slight warm temperature. Then add all the almonds to the processors and let it grind, after 4-5 minutes using spatula, bring it to the centre. Here you can add salt or sugar as per your taste and keep grinding.

At first, the almond butter will appear like a flour, then gradually the process of grinding the almonds releases natural oil. Lastly, after grinding the almonds for 10 to 15 minutes, the creamy almond butter will be ready. Transfer to an airtight mason jar and store in a cool dry place.

3/3

Almond butter with infused oil

To make this simple almond butter, you hardly need 5 to 7 minutes. To begin with, dry roast 4 cup raw almonds in a pan until they turn slightly golden in colour, roast the almonds in batches or you can also roast the almonds in an oven.

Once the almonds are slightly warm, add them to a processor and grind them three times to break nicely. When the almonds turn into a flour, add in 2 tablespoon infused olive oil or any neutral oil, you can also add in kosher salt or sugar to accentuate the taste. Next, blend it nicely. Transfer the almonds butter to a glass jar and store in the fridge.

Note: You can also add chocolate chips or other dry fruits to make your homemade Almond butter more delicious.
