How to clean wooden cookware

Wooden cookware has become popular in the modern kitchen. While they have a subtle elegance to them, they also absorb dirt and oils, which can be difficult to remove. As per experts, it is important to take extra care of wooden cookware as they have open pores that can absorb oil and food items and further develop bacteria-borne illnesses. Soak in warm water

You can also clean them by soaking them in a solution of warm water and dishwashing liquid. The warm water kills the bacteria, and dishwashing liquid removes odour and also cleans the marks of masalas and oil. (Image: istock)
