Alia Bhatt's Mac and Cheese Recipe

Ingredients: 350 ml milk, 90g grated cheddar cheese, 90g pasta, 2 tbsp maida (all-purpose flour), 25g butter, salt, nutmeg powder, and bBlack pepper powder
Method: Start by boiling the pasta in salted water. Add a dash of oil to it as this helps avoid the pasta from sticking together. Soni Razdan’s expert tip is to add a dash of olive oil in another vessel before adding butter. This will ensure that your butter doesn’t burn. Then add the maida, stir it well, and let the maida cook. Take the vessel off the heat and add the milk. Give it a good whisk. Once you’re sure there are no lumps, put it back on the stove and keep stirring it. Later, add cheese along with a pinch of nutmeg, salt, and some black pepper. Once the pasta sauce is thick, add a bit of this water and pasta to the sauce and mix well. Transfer it to a baking dish, sprinkle it with some shredded cheese and bake it for 5-7 minutes. And your Mac and Cheese is ready!
