According to a PMC study, papaya supports gut health through its dietary fibers, enzymes, and anti-inflammatory properties. Dietary fibers from ripe papaya promote beneficial gut microbiota fermentation, producing short-chain fatty acids that improve gut health. Papaya also contains papain enzyme which aids protein digestion, alleviating indigestion and bloating. Papaya is also said to have antioxidants that help reduce gut inflammation and improve overall digestive function.

Ingredients required: 1 cup diced ripe papaya, 1/2 cup regular milk or coconut milk, 1/2 cup ice, 1 tsp honey and a dash of cinnamon.

As per the National Library of Medicine's study titled Anticancer potential of Carica papaya Linn black seed extract against human colon cancer cell line: in vitro study, papaya (Carica papaya Linn) seeds offer anti-cancer properties that can cure various types of cancer, such as liver and prostate cancer. It is also said that the antioxidants in papaya, such as lycopene, inhibit cancer cell growth and reduce oxidative stress, lowering the risk of cancer. It is also found that papaya's carotene can stimulate the uterus and help regulate period cramps.
