Why so many dishes?

Apparently, it’s a tradition in Andhra Pradesh to host the son-in-law and throw a grand feast on the occasion of Pedda Panduga, also known as Makar Sankranti. As per a TOI report, this record has broken the earlier attempt of a family from Narsapuram in the undivided West Godavari district from last year, who served 365 different varieties of food items to their son-in-law on the Sankranti festival.
