Optical illusions deceive the brain and lead it to false conclusions and that's what makes them challenging. When our minds perceive an image, they integrate different parts into specific positions, allowing us to interpret it as a complete whole. The objective of optical illusions is to trick our visual perception. They are called optical illusions for a reason—they deceive the brain into perceiving something that isn't there, causing us to overlook elements that are actually quite obvious.

There are three main types of optical illusions: literal, physiological, and cognitive. Literal illusions occur when our brains misinterpret data and incorrectly identify the physical properties of an object. Physiological illusions are caused by distortions in the processing of visual information by the brain and eyes. Cognitive illusions occur when our brains inaccurately process visual information external to ourselves.

Optical illusions can be both challenging and entertaining. Even if you don't consider yourself particularly observant, you can play this game and improve your agility in life.
