Optical illusion: Only those with sharp vision can spot the zeros hidden among Os in just 9 seconds
Optical illusions are amazing visual puzzles that challenge how we see the world around us. These illusions confuse the eyes but also sharpen cognitive abilities and enhance intelligence. One of the most popular optical illusions going viral now is to find hidden sets of zeros in a picture full of the letter 'O.' The task is to find these zeros within a fixed time limit of just 9 seconds, testing your observation skills.
Fill a red background image with Os. In one look, it appears to be a random jumble of Os. The challenge lies in discovering the hidden and cleverly placed sets of zeros in the pattern. You will need to focus on the image, attend closely to it, and think quickly to uncover those unseen zeros before time runs out.
Not that this mattered, since the clue to solving this puzzle was hidden in a very subtle hint: the zeros appear in the last three rows of the image. Now look at these rows more closely, and after a bit of patience, you should be able to spot them.
10 brain workouts to improve concentration power
The optical illusion challenge would state that the set of zeros lies in the third-to-last row, right-hand side of the picture, second-to-last column. The most interesting about these zeros is that they are smaller than all the Os in the sheet and this is what makes them harder to locate because of this. Size and position are all engineered for a test on focus and ability to attend to subtlety.
This is a rather simple, but effective optical illusion for your observation and brain. Good for you if you were able to spot the zeros within the given 9-second time space; you surely have great eyes and an excellent mind. However, if you are not among them, do not lose hope, as after a few more practices it will be easy to get over such challenges.
This optical illusion is not just a funny puzzle but gives us a clue about our perception and cognitive abilities. Much can be learned from the person, including his IQ, attention to detail, and even some hidden personality traits. Whether you solved this illusion or not, it's a great way to engage your brain and learn more about how you perceive the world around you.
