How to treat bloating with the right breakfast choices?

Bloating can be a serious problem, especially when you have the entire day planned ahead of you. It can not only cause a lot of discomfort, but can also hamper your activities. That said, it is only right to start your day with food and a healthy meal plan.

If you're someone who is always troubled by gastrointestinal issues, such as indigestion, gas or bloating, here are the breakfast recipes that can help you manage it.

Banana porridge

A bowl of warm banana porridge can be wholesome and wonderful for your gut! All you need is oatmeal, milk, banana, cinnamon and honey. To prepare the dish, put oats, milk and cinnamon into a saucepan. Bring to a boil on medium heat and reduce it to a simmer. Stir frequently for a few minutes or until the porridge has thickened. Add mashed banana and honey to it and stir again. Serve in a bowl and enjoy.

Turmeric scrambled eggs

Turmeric is popularly known for its anti-inflammatory properties, which reduces digestive issues including bloating. For breakfast, you can have turmeric scrambled eggs to relieve any form of stomach problems.

You will need eggs, your choice of oil, turmeric powder and spinach. Whisk the eggs and turmeric together. Heat a pan and put in your choice of cooking oil. Add the spinach and stir into the oil. Then add the whisked turmeric and egg mixture, cook it until you get the right consistency.

Bajra Cheela

For Bajra Cheela, you will need bajra flour, salt, green chillies, chopped coriander leaves, chopped bell pepper, grated carrots, 2 tbsp cooking oil. To prepare the dish, you can add the bajra flour into a bowl, add salt to it and pour in water and mix until you have a smooth paste. Then add the chopped green chillies, coriander leaves and grated carrots into the paste. Heat a non-stick pain, grease the surface with oil. With the help of a ladle, spread the batter on to the pan, creating a circle. Put some oil and cook it from both the sides, Easy-to-cook bajra cheela is ready to eat!

Papaya salad

Papaya has several health benefits. It has a natural digestive enzyme called papain, which relieves symptoms such as bloating, constipation, and gas. That said, papaya salad is a healthy breakfast choice to make. All you need is one medium green papaya, carrot, cucumber mint leaves. For the dressing, you need rice vinegar, soy sauce, maple syrup, salt, cloves of garlic, onion, and chili pepper.

First prepare the dressing by mixing all ingredients. Then peel off the outer skin of the papaya and carefully cut the fruit into thin layers. Do the same with other salad ingredients like carrots and cucumber. In a large bowl, mix all of them together and toss it up. Pour in the dressing and toss again. Serve and enjoy!

Drinking jeera water can also ease your bloating to a great extent. Heat one cup of water and add half teaspoon cumin seeds and soak them overnight. Next morning, add honey and lemon into the soaked jeera water and drink for a refreshing experience. This special drink is said to aid weight loss too!
