The total amount of time spent pedaling is important when you are trying to lose weight by cycling. While fixing the time, you must remember that the metabolism of every person is different and you first need to understand your body's requirement before starting any routine. For your reference, one hour of cycling can help you burn up to 500 calories. So, if you ride bike consistently and have a healthy diet then you will be able to lose 500 grams in a week.

Fix the timing

If you have decided to lose weight by cycling then plan your routine correctly. Ride bike every morning before having breakfast. Riding bike on an empty stomach helps to burn fat 20 percent faster and effectively, claims studies. This will also refresh your mind and will fill you with energy to kick start your day.
