Jiu-Jitsu

There are some simple techniques of Jiu-Jitsu that you can do easily at home all by yourself. But some techniques of Jiu-Jitsu require a partner. This form of martial arts was developed for smaller people to defeat a larger opponent with little or no injury. Jiu-Jitsu focuses on fighting techniques which are closer to the ground and can help you defeat any person with a stronger physique.

Some basic technique of Jiu-Jitsu are as follows:

- Single leg takedown

-Double leg takedown

-Rear naked choke

-Triangle choke

-Armlock

Muay Thai

This is an excellent exercise to learn at home if you do not have a partner. All you need are some equipment such as punching bag, boxing gloves and Muay Thai shin guards. This technique is a little difficult as compared to other forms of martial arts, but with practice, you will get better with time. Learning the basics of Muay Thai will increase your fighting skills.

Some important techniques are:

Boxing

Boxing is an excellent form of art to stay strong and agile. To start boxing all you need is a pair of boxing gloves. Fighting stance is the first thing you should learn when you start boxing. Your knees should be bent, elbows in, hands up, dominant hand in the rear, and chin tucked. Maintaining the right stance is important to balance your body and punch with power.

Karate

In karate, one should start with stretching, followed by a warming session for the muscles. Just like boxing, even in karate, it is important to know the basic stance like walking stance, frontal stance, and back stance.

Walking stance: Your dominant foot should be forward while your back foot should be at 45- degree angle behind you. During this stance, your feet should walking width apart.

Front stance: It is like moving forward or backward, keeping your body weight in the forward direction.

Back stance: It is like keeping your feet in a walking position and put all your weight on your back leg.

Krav Maga is great for self-defense technique. For this, you will need boxing gloves, heavy bag, and Muay Thai shin guards to kick the bag hard. This fighting technique is a combination of techniques sourced from boxing, wrestling, aikido, judo, and karate.
