Fatigue or the feeling of being always tired could occur due to some underlying causes. There are times when we feel completely drained out, to the extent that it's difficult to carry on daily work. Fatigue may also set in due to low or high sugar levels in people with diabetes, while dopamine deficiency can also cause it. The imbalance of cortisol, the stress hormone, may also lead to feeling of fatigue.Also, with the increase in screen time and other social conditions, your sleeping hours would have reduced to 5 hours making your body very tired and overworked.There are a few other reasons why your body might always be tired and you might have easily overlooked it as it would not have made a huge difference in your physical health. The reasons include dehydration, hormonal imbalance, Vitamin deficiencies, medical conditions, or chronic disease.

Chronic medical conditions like anemia, diabetes, and cardiovascular health issues cause significant fatigue. Cancer and tumors also make you very tired. Apart from severe medical conditions, your body may be tired because of sleep apnea, hyperthyroidism, anxiety disorders, depression, and even autoimmune diseases, according to Cleveland Clinic.

Lifestyle conditions

Inefficient calories or nutrients in the body due to improper diet will can your muscles very weak and sometimes it even leads to mass muscle loss, as per Mayo Clinic. Try prioritising fresh foods like fruits vegetables, and lean proteins like eggs and fish that provide essential energy. Apart from intake of food, excessive consumption of alcohol and drug usage can disrupt your energy reserves as well.

Dehydration

Dehydration is one of the most overlooked reasons as not many focus on the amount of water they drink in a day. Even a mild dehydration significantly impacts your energy level and your body struggles to function optimally without enough water.

Excess screen time

The use of mobile phones, TV, and laptops disrupts your circadian rhythm because of the blue light emitted from the device. It disturbs and impacts your sleep cycle as well. Sleep deprivation can make you feel tired.

Vitamin deficiencies

When your body lacks essential vitamins like B12 and D, the energy produced by the body at cellular levels will not be enough causing tiredness. It is important to have sufficient nutrient-dense food to balance the vitamins in the body.

Toxin exposure

Exposure to pollutants, chemicals, and water contamination can add stress to your body and contribute to fatigue. While toxins don't react immediately, because it is harmful, it slowly drains out all the energy from your body.
