Dana White on Trump’s bizarre diet: ‘I’ve never seen him drink water'

Donald Trump has secured a decisive victory in the US presidential election. Apart from the many historic firsts, Trump has also achieved the remarkable feat of becoming the oldest president in US history. Amid all the election excitement, what has caught the attention of health experts is the incredible health and stamina of the president-elect which was apparent in the over 120 rallies, town halls and campaign events. However, if one is curious about the health secrets of Trump, it surely isn't his diet as he's often seen guzzling unhealthy amounts of Diet coke (or did he switch to normal coke?), candy, and hamburgers.

Trump's close friend Dana White in an interview with commentator Tucker Carlson spilled the beans on the US President-elect’s bizarre diet that included a variety of junk food, soda, with hardly any water. However White agreed that his poor eating habits never slowed him down.

White has accompanied his friend at multiple campaign rallies including the Republican National Convention, but he paid a close attention to his strange eating habits at his UFC events.

White said he had never seen Trump drinking water, but noticed him drinking only Coke.

“He’ll sit at the fights with me all night. All night, you’re talking like six hours. So, I’ll ask him, ‘Do you want a water?’ ‘No, no, no’. And somebody will bring him over a Coke, and he’ll drink Coke,” White said in the interview.

“I’ve never seen him drink water, ever. I’m not saying he doesn’t drink water. I’m just saying I’ve never seen it. And we’re friends and I’ve been around him a long time and a lot," he added.

Big Macs, Milky Ways, and Cokes form a key part of his diet but White says "it works for him" and that he’s unstoppable.

“I told him, ‘Listen, you’ve got to do this’. He’s like, ‘Ah, you’re too thin. You looked better before’. Yeah, he said that he says it all the time. ‘I don’t like too thin. I like some size’," said White.

Jokingly calling him an 'absolute beast', White says that following the same diet (except Coke) deteriorated his health, but Trump is a 'different animal'

“He’s a different animal because I was doing the same thing - minus the Coca-Cola - and I had one foot in the grave. And I’m 55, not 78. He’s a different animal. He’s an absolute beast. This guy doesn’t sleep, he works hard, he flies everywhere, he’s a savage, an absolute animal.”
