Maintaining a healthy weight

Being overweight can increase the risk of breast cancer. It is important to stay at the right weight. Women can reduce their risk of breast cancer by maintaining a healthy weight through a balanced diet and regular physical activity.

Exercise helps keep the body's hormones normal and the immune system healthy. Exercise can reduce estrogen levels and boost the immune system, helping the body protect against cancer cell growth. Aim for at least 150 minutes of moderate-intensity exercise per week.
