Many people opt for sexual supplements in order to improve their intimate life. However, a few minutes of physical activity like doing simple yoga exercises can give good results.

These yoga poses are easy to do and can be done at the comfort of home. If you are keen on improving your sexual health here are 6 yoga poses you should know:

​Setu Bandha Sarvangasana​


This yoga pose strengthens the pelvic muscles and is beneficial for those who experience pain during and after the sex.

To do Setu Bandha Sarvangasana lie on your back, keep your palm rested on the floor. Slowly lift your hips upward and bring it to the level of your chin. Make sure your feet are firm on the ground when you are doing this exercise.

​Ananda Balasana​


This is a relaxation pose and is extremely good for the lower back. This exercise stretches the glutes.

Balasana, as the name suggests, is imitating a child. In this pose you have to lie down on your back. Hold your toes and slowly stretch your legs away till the point you can. Do not stretch your legs too far if you are just a beginner.

​Eka Pada Rajakapotasana​


This yoga pose is aimed at relaxing the hips. If you have tight hips then this pose, which is also known as one legged pigeon pose, is good for you.

This is a floor exercise, in which you have to pick the right leg and pull it forward perpendicular to the left leg. Now lean forward and put your body weight on the right leg. Stretch your hips as much as possible as you lean forward. Repeat this for the left leg.

Balasana


This is another effective exercise that targets the lower body. In this you have to be on your four limbs. While keeping the hands firm on the floor, you need to push back yourself to the ground on your legs. Repeat this for 10-15 times.

Balasana improves the flexibility of your hips and glutes and is useful for those who have back pain while doing sex.

​Savasana​


Also known as the corpse pose, this is a good exercise for relaxing your body.

Many health experts consider it to be a small meditation session as well. This is usually done at the end of the yoga session in order to relax the body and the mind.

In savasana you have to lie down on the floor on your back with hands and legs relaxed.
