Femina Miss India contestants experience campus life at Bennett University!

Sports is an integral part of human development. It helps people to acquire and develop important skills, which enables them to lead a successful life. Bennett University, a Times Group initiative, took a step in this direction by welcoming fbb Colors Femina Miss India 2018 finalists to their Greater Noida campus to participate in the in-house sports day.

Finalists from all over the country

The finalists from all over the country played various sports ranging from badminton to basketball to swimming. Experiencing campus life again was certainly a breather from their hectic routine of photo shoots and fittings.

Participated in 6 sports

“Bennett University is a beautiful campus and the staff here is extremely warm and welcoming. I enjoyed playing all these sports today!” says Gayatri Bhardwaj, a finalist from Delhi. Gayatri also won the 100m race and a table tennis match against a fellow finalist from Gujarat.

National champions

The finalists are not only into hardcore gymming to keep themselves fit. Some of them are national level champions in sports such as horse riding, football, air pistol shooting to name a few. “This is my second visit to Bennett university and I have to admit their infrastructure is outstanding,” says another fbb Colors Femina Miss India 2018 finalist, Anna Kler from Punjab.

Eagerness and enthusiasm

The fbb Colors Femina Miss India 2018 finalists inspired everyone with their eagerness to participate in every sport. Be it badminton or basketball, the enthusiasm and energy of the participants knew no bounds and they left their mark with their positive attitude. As per Prartharna Sarkar, fbb Colors Femina Miss India 2018 finalist from West Bengal, sports play a key role in developing years, “Sports is very important in a person’s life. It brings conviction and confidence, both of which are needed to win any competition.”

“All sleep and work make the beauty pageant dull and boring"

The finalists might have been under constant pressure due to the level of competition they faced from their counterparts, but on the basketball court, they were all smiles. “All sleep and work make the beauty pageant dull and boring. Hence, sports is a good way to de-stress yourself. My experience so far has been super amazing,” says Mamita Debbarma, fbb Colors Femina Miss India 2018 finalist from Tripura.

An atmosphere of healthy competition

The atmosphere in the university was filled with the perfect amount of zeal and enthusiasm as the young girls left no stone unturned to win the competition they participated in. The grace and sportsmanship with which they participated in the event today will help them prepare for the race for the coveted crown.
