Shilpa Shetty is a renowned Bollywood actress, producer, dancer, author, model and a businesswoman. The 48-year-old star has left no stone unturned to defy her age by her gorgeous looks and figure. Shilpa Shetty is the mother of two lovely kids, she had her first child in 2012 and had her second daughter in the year 2020 through surrogacy. Although she has to follow the duties of a mother and tender to the needs of her kids, she manages to find time for working out. Breakfast is a must

Breakfast is the most important meal of the day for Shilpa Shetty, she never skips her breakfast and likes eating a bowl of apples, mangoes and almond milk, she also eats porridge or two boiled or scrambled eggs. “If you don’t break your fast you are not doing good to your brain and body. I like to keep it simple and quick” the actress once said in an interview.

Keep your stomach full

Shilpa Shetty doesn’t like to starve herself; she believes in consuming a balanced diet. Switching to coconut milk has been a great alternative for her and has helped her in reducing weight as she considers coconut milk as a beneficial form of her diet. In addition to that, coconut milk also works for lactose intolerant people. “You have to add foods in your diet that keeps you full and at the same time maintain your weight and give you a natural glow.”

Practices yoga

As we already know the innumerable benefits of yoga, Shilpa Shetty also practices this form of workout as a part of her exercise regime. Yoga gives us a peaceful mind and a shapely body. Shilpa stays away from white sugar as she is aware of its cons on her body and health. She prefers honey, powdered jaggery or coconut sugar as healthier alternatives. “Sacrifice excess sugar, eat clean, and get fitter than you were yesterday” is Shilpa Shetty’s fitness mantra.

Shilpa strictly follows the rule of having her dinner before 7:30. Even if she has to attend a social event, she never fails to perform this diet ritual. She eats soup, chapatis and a small portion of vegetables as her dinner. She likes to keep her dinner light and healthy, avoiding excess calorie intake.
