7 vastu tips for balcony to bring in good luck

According to Vastu Shastra, a balcony is not only an extension of your home but also a pathway for fresh air, sunlight, and positive energies. By using the principles of Vastu Shastra in your balcony, you can attract prosperity, happiness, and positivity in your home. Here are seven tips to help you use the principles of Vastu Shastra in your balcony.

2/8

Choose the right direction

As per Vastu Shastra, the most auspicious direction for a balcony is either north or east. This is because a balcony in these directions receives sunlight and positive energy in the morning, thus promoting health and happiness. A well-lit balcony is a source of positive energy and helps to connect the indoor and outdoor areas of your home.

3/8

Keep it clean and clutter-free

The clean balcony is a guarantee that positive energies and fresh air will come in your place of residence. The messy balconies add to the stagnant energies and may invite stress or delays in life. Cleaning the balcony, getting rid of useless objects and arranging the planters or furniture will make sure that the balcony will always be an invigorating and bright space that brings good fortune and sanity of mind.

4/8

Use light and calm colours

According to Vastu, the balcony walls and furniture should be painted with soft, light colours such as white, cream, pastel blue, or green. These colours are calming and reflect light, making the balcony feel spacious and serene. Dark or heavy colours can make the balcony feel closed-in, resulting in stagnant energies and a heavy heart. Select colours that match the light in your balcony.

5/8

Add positive greenery

Plants purify the air and make the balcony a lively area, essential for attracting positive energies. Select plants that are non-thorny, such as Tulsi, money plants, jasmine, and peace lilies, and plant them in corners where there is plenty of sunlight. Greenery represents growth, prosperity, and peace. Avoid plants like cactus, which have sharp thorns and can generate disrupting energies.

6/8

Arrange furniture mindfully

Comfortable seating and light furniture make the place welcoming. As per Vastu, heavy furniture should be kept in the south or west side, while seating intended for relaxation should allow you to face north or east. Do not obstruct the pathways and the center of the balcony.

7/8

Incorporate water features wisely

Including a water feature, such as a fountain or a bowl with floating flowers, in the north or northeast corner of the balcony can improve the tranquility and wealth energies. Water is an abundance symbol in Vastu Shastra, but it should be used effectively to balance the energies in the balcony.

8/8

Use soft lighting and decor

Use of soft and warm lighting, like fairy lights or lanterns, can also enhance the ambiance of the balcony in the evenings. Hard lighting or blocked sunlight can cause disharmony. Use of wind chimes or paintings can also give personality to the balcony and help in attracting balanced energies.

The balcony that is designed using Vastu is not only beautiful but it also represents the entrance to positivity, prosperity, and harmonious living in your house. With the proper elements, such as direction, colours, plants, seating, and decors you can have a space that not only increases good luck and positivity in your house but also make your living space emit good energies.
