A video is going viral over social media where a woman is seen standing on a railway track and her eyes have swollen up with tears.

It seems the woman deboarded the train to buy something, maybe an essential item like milk, and the train left. Social media accounts that have shared the video have posted that the mother went to buy milk when the train left.

Irrespective of the background, what has touched the heart of many is that soon after she discovers the train has picked up pace and she can't reach her coach, the woman is seen speaking to someone, a railway guard maybe. He then signals the train to stop after learning the woman's plight. The woman then runs towards her coach and boards the train.

Netizens have expressed their happiness over this kind gesture as the video goes viral across social media platforms. "This is the India I want to live in. Empathetic. Considerate. Caring. The guard who stopped the train should be honoured with the highest award," writes one X user.

During the journey, she became hungry….TC noticed our situation, called ahead to the next station, and arranged for milk and snacks. To my surprise, he even refused to accept any payment," writes a third user.
