Gauranga Das's spiritual lessons for modern times

Indian spiritual leader and author Gauranga Das is quite popular among the masses for his deep, insightful lessons about spirituality and relationships which are relevant even in modern times. He often shares his knowledge with others through his posts and videos on social media that many people find relatable and apt. In one such post, Gauranga Das ji recently shared certain things one should always keep private and why.

"Not everything is meant for the world to see," Gauranga Das wrote in the post. "Share only with those who’ve earned your trust. When you protect your personal boundaries and inner world, you protect your peace, power, and emotional clarity, letting your actions speak louder than words," he further shared.

So, here we list the five things one should never share about themselves with others and the reason for it, as revealed by Gauranga Das:

2/6

Problems you have with your parents

"Do not talk about the problems and fights you have with your family. People will judge your upbringing and your bond with your parents without understanding the situation. They won't see the love, the sacrifice, and the efforts. They'll just assume things," he shared.

3/6

Your family's financial condition

Explaining how money can affect your inter-personal relationships, he further said, "Whether good or bad, it changes how people treat you. It changes the way people see you." He added, "Your financial status is nobody's business but yours."

4/6

Your emotional weakness

Considering the reality that not all people are your well-wishers, Gauranga Das said that one should keep their emotions guarded as they can be used against you. "Some will empathise with you, some will pity you, others will use it against you. Protect your emotions and share them with those who truly understand," he shared and rightly so.

5/6

Your regrets

Making mistakes are part of life. But what matters most is how you learn from them and grow as a person. And so, one shouldn't share their regrets or past mistakes with others, Gauranga Das shared. Talking about this he said in the video, "People often see your regrets as your past mistakes, not your growth. Your regrets don't need an audience. Learn from it and move forward in life."

6/6

How much you sacrifice

"As the saying goes, 'Agar aapne apne daayein hath se kuch acha kiya ho toh bayein hath ko bhi nahi pata chalna chahiye'," said Das. Elaborating this, he said, "A true sacrifice doesn't need to be broadcasted. If you are doing good, let your actions speak louder than your words. Keep some things secret. Not everyone deserves access to your heart, your struggles or your story."

He should stick to advise on Krishna consciousness instead of becoming new Steven Covey. There ate enough motivational speakers in the market.
