7 silliest arguments you have with your partner

Fights and arguments are a part of every relationship. After all, a healthy, exciting, and lasting relationship is incomplete without some bickering, taunts, and arguments. However, sometimes many fights and disagreements are over the silliest of reasons you could imagine! Here is a look at a few of them.

2/8

What to have for dinner?

This involves each spouse trying to change the mind of the other instead of focusing on the problem. One is trying to convince the other that sushi is better while the other likes Italian. The best thing to do is focus together on the problem and come up with a solution that suits you both.

3/8

The toilet seat spat

You are destined to have this argument at least once a week! But is it really worth it fighting over something like putting a toilet seat down that requires minimal effort? Probably not! The better thing to do is to calmly remind your significant other that putting it back down would be much obliged.

4/8

Why is there no toilet paper?

Sitting down on the toilet only to find that the toilet paper roll is empty is quite frustrating! However, instead of fighting, replace the roll, remind your partner that they can't just leave you hanging when you go to the washroom, and move on with your day.

5/8

“I cook, you clean” debate

When you spend hours in the kitchen cooking, you might feel like you have earned the right to simply sit back while your other half cleans up the mess. But if your spouse never agreed to this arrangement, it leads to an unnecessary fight. Next time, just check in with your spouse and make sure this set-up works before you start cooking.

6/8

Spats over walking speed

Some people just naturally walk faster, and this has nothing to do with being in a hurry or trying to outpace someone else. If it bothers you that your partner is walking too quickly or too slowly, it's more effective to just tell them to slow down than to attack them for their natural walking pace.

7/8

Where did my leftovers go

To be fair, you have every right to be annoyed, but at the end of the day, food is just food, and something so small doesn't deserve your energy. If your partner eating your leftovers is a regular problem, just talk to them politely about asking before eating.

8/8

Wet towels on the bed

Frustrating as this may be, it only takes you a few extra seconds to throw that towel back on the rack. And honestly, something like this is more of a personal preference than a household necessity, so your spouse doesn't deserve a bashing for it.
