Jennifer Anniston's boyfriend Jim Curtis finally reveals how they met: 'We were introduced by...'

One of the greatest highlights of 2025 when it comes to celebrities is everyone's favourite FRIENDS star, Jennifer Aniston finding love again. The 56-year-old who had been single for a long time went Instagram official with her hypnotherapist boyfriend Jim Curtis and we finally know how it all began.

Curtis, a health and wellness expert recently appeared on the Today show on January 26, 2026 to discuss his practices and new book 'The Book of Possibility'. During the interview host Craig Melvin sneaked in some questions about his relationship with the Hollywood diva.

The one where they met and fell in love

When asked about how he met the 'Just Go With It' actress, Curtis shared that they had been introduced by friends and began chatting with each other. “We were just introduced by friends. That’s it. We found out that we had mutual friends and we started to just chat.”

However, it wasn't love at first sight. The health and wellness expert added that it took a long time for them to go official. “It took a long time, we chatted for a long time and we became close,” he noted.

Now, he revealed that the couple had been together for almost a year. “A long time, months now, almost close to a year,” he said when asked about how long they had been together.

The couple went Instagram official in November 2025 when Aniston shared a photo of herself wrapped around Curtis with the caption: “Happy birthday my love Cherished” with a red heart emoji.

The two had sparked relationship rumours in July 2025 when they were spotted together in Mallorca, Spain alongside Aniston's celebrity friends Jason Bateman and his wife Amanda Anka and Amy Schumer.

Curtis also made an appearance in the actress's 2025 wrap-up reel, where he could be seen posing with one of her dogs in the photo.

"She had a great end to the year and feels really good about where things are with Jim,” a source said of Aniston to PEOPLE. “She's excited about this new year and what's ahead, especially with Jim by her side now. Jen's always been fine on her own and comfortable being single, but her relationship with Jim is just different.”

Prior to Curtis, Aniston had been married to actor Justin Theroux from 2015 to 2018 and dated John Mayer and Vince Vaughn.
