Here's where you should place your bed

Your sleep and peace is very important for the sake of sanity. If you sleep well, the mood is good, you are able to think straight and you wake up cheerful. However, there are several factors that influence your sleep and that also includes the direction of your bed. As per Feng Shui, if the position of your bed is right then besides sleep there are several advantages in order. Take a look at the directions and the advantages that they have.

2/8

East

If you place the headboard in the east direction, it is said to give a boost to your creativity. It is also said to be the beginning of many good things in life. This direction is perfect for the young minds as it brings out the ambition in you, helps in growth and is good for your career expansion.

3/8

West

This direction is all about contentment. But it includes low motivation and laziness as well. So when you are planning to start something new, avoid this direction. When your mind is too worked up, the west direction is what you need where your face should be in that direction.

4/8

South East

This direction is perfect for those who have issues in communication. It brings in some activeness and also works on your creativity level.

5/8

South West

The South West direction does wonders for those who are restless. When you face that direction in the bed, it is said to calm you down and make you feel peaceful.

6/8

North

The North is where lies the answer to your insomnia. As per Feng Shui, this direction is perfect for those suffering from sleeping disorders. It is also a good direction for senior citizens because it helps calm them down.

7/8

South

Never sleep in this direction because this direction has a lot of energy. Heated arguments in your relationships could be a result too.

8/8

Here are a few more key points to remember:

  1. Never sleep directly in front of the door.
  2. Never sleep with your feet facing the door either as it is called the coffin position.
  3. Face a closet but make sure it remains closed at night.
