These 4 signs suggest that you fear commitment

1/5

Why do you run away from commitment?

The idea of being serious in a relationship is often difficult to digest for some people. Not everyone takes to the concept of commitment so easily. Are you one of them too? Scroll down to find out from these 4 signs that indicate whether you are commitment phobic or not.

2/5

You sabotage your own relationships

If you act up, start finding ways to fight when everything is going fine, it means you are that person who self sabotages his/her relationships. This happens if you are scared of commitment. You get cold feet if you are happy because you are not used to being so happy. You feel things are out of control and that is nothing but fear of commitment.

3/5

No staunch reason why you don’t want to commit

You do not want to get married for 2 different reasons. One could be that you do not believe in the institution of marriage and have a set of ideals, the other could be that you are phobic to the word commitment. The latter happens when you have seen too many break ups around you, a disturbed relationship between your parents or someone has broken your heart before. You may also not know why you do not want to get into a committed relationship, when someone asks you. You have no logical reasoning as such.

4/5

You avoid sharing your feelings

You get too uncomfortable when someone latches on to your feelings and wants to talk about you? This could be because you fear commitment. You do not want to get emotionally attached to anyone. Being vulnerable is not you so the moment something like that happens, you feel threatened, your guards are on full alert and you run away.

5/5

You reject people based on silly things

You may like someone initially but you reject them for the silliest of reasons like she has a very sharp nose, his toe nails are round and not square, he eats salads with mayo etc. When you look for shallow reasons the relationship is getting deeper, it means you are commitment phobic.
