Things you do during the wedding celebrations that may label you as a 'bridezilla'

It is very possible that you can turn into a ‘bridezilla’ on the day of your wedding. If you are someone who likes to take control, then preparing for your wedding day can be a huge hassle. Even if it is your big day, you need to pay more heed to how you appear on your wedding day. Don’t be excessively demanding, controlling or difficult because there are other people involved in the entire wedding process as well. The foremost thing you need to do is be completely calm. Here are some things you may be doing unintentionally that might be labelling you as a ‘bridezilla. Let’s take a look.


Obsessive planning
A bridezilla may obsess over every detail of her wedding, from the colour of the table linens to the colour of her eyeshadow. You may be labelled as a bridezilla if you try to micromanage every aspect of the planning process. This will leave little room for other people's input. They may eventually feel left out.


Unrealistic expectations
Every bride dreams of a fairy tale wedding where everything is just magical and perfect. But setting impossibly high standards can make it difficult for her bridesmaids, family and wedding decor vendors. You may even express extreme disappointment when things won’t go as planned.


Excessive control
A bridezilla may exert excessive control over every decision, refusing to delegate tasks or allow others to contribute. She may insist on making all the decisions herself, leading to feelings of resentment and frustration among those involved in the wedding preparations. If you display excessive control, then your close ones or family members may feel very disappointed with you.


Emotional outbursts
You may have frequent emotional outbursts and may react strongly to even minor setbacks or disagreements. Bridezillas may lash out at family members, friends, or vendors, making the atmosphere tense and unpleasant for everyone involved.


Inflexibility
A bridezilla may refuse to compromise or consider alternative options, insisting that her vision is the only acceptable one. She may dismiss others' suggestions or ideas, creating a stressful environment and disregarding the opinions and feelings of those around her. So, if you refuse to listen to others’ opinions and ideas and only stick to your own, then you may be known as a big-time bridezilla.
